Unique, life-size sculptures made with recycled palm fronds. The fronds are collected, trimmed, and scraped free of mold, revealing brilliant sunset colors and marble patterns. Each piece is coated with a clear gloss that acts as sun protection as well as insect/water repellent.

The fronds are screwed into a wooden frame that hides beneath the fronds. In the end, the transformation of discarded/ugly material into adored/ beautiful works of art is finally complete. What once was dead is now alive and larger than life.
